about us

Ours is a research education program that helps USMLE applicants to establish research profile on their curriculum vitae through journal publications and conference presentations.

This program is led under the mentorship of the US-trained resident physicians where students will learn how to write papers and be an author of their specialty-driven research project. We have catered the needs of applicants interested in family/internal medicine, psychiatry, neurology, pediatrics and OBGYN. 

Our mission is to inspire and encourage medical students/graduates as they journey through ERAS applications to achieve their dreams in medicine.

what we do

preparation

participants meet with assigned mentors and project coordinator to perform a thorough review of the literature and develop a research hypothesis

our program provides tutorials on developing a scientific manuscript, and our statistician provides insights on applied statistics and works with participants on reading data analysis reports

practical application

teams develop a manuscript consisting of a description of the research question and goals of the study, methods, results with figures/tables, and discussion for their assigned project

to review progress and ensure the scientific validity of work, the participants meet with their mentor and coordinator on a timely basis

final review is completed by mentor followed by submission of the manuscript to peer-reviewed journals with the potential of having the work published
